Highlights of the PGHTNCON 2016, a World Mega Scientific Event:

1. The world’s mega medical event, from all the 6 continents, 100 countries, 300 foreign delegates and 1000 national delegates from all part of the countries joined in world mega event.

2. This event has 6 parallel halls and 6 parallel sessions,42 symposia’s in these halls, 8 Young Scientist Symposia for 51 young doctors/researchers, various state of the art lectures, 34 keynotes lectures occurred and selected 50 scientific posters were presented.

3. In this conference controversies and consensus as regard to recent developments in aetiology, aetiopathogenesis, complications and treatment has been summarized of following diseases having their 2 to 3 symposia’s for Liver disease, Gastrointestinal disorder, Transplant, Biliary Atresia & Cystic Fibrosis, Liver, GERD, IBD, Cholestasis, Child Obesity and Nutrition, Nutrition, Food and GIT, Nutrition and Diseases, Liver disease associated with Systemic Disease, Management of IBD, Functional GI Disorder and Intensive Care, Constipation, Metabolic Liver Disease, Eating Disorder, Celiac Disease, Current status of Probiotics, Vaccine, Protein and genetic Disorders, Hepatitis, Liver Failure, Esophagitis, GI Disorders and Malnutrition.

4. After great discussions, many new areas has been emerged out for research activities in different fields for approach towards the treatment of certain diseases and new understanding for etiology and etiopathogenesis which will be very beneficial for whole world and in particular to pediatric population worldwide.

5. Another important aspect of this world congress is that, the first time in this world event the medical site people who are involved in the Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary, Nutrition are jointly had a scientific meeting with their surgical side of Transplant group so this combined approach of Medical and Surgical group has tremendously welcomed by all over the world and have given a new era to had such regular meetings in the future where Medical group and Surgical group of all these diseases under Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary, Transplant and Nutrition can jointly discuss their problems with their counter parts.
  
6. The remarkable scenario of this conference was adolescent group of patients in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Transplant and Nutrition. Adolescents are overlapped by adult population at one hand, and on other hand by the pediatric population. These were putting two symposia specifically on adolescent group of these disease with the joint interaction of adult and pediatric experts in this Super Speciality had a common platform to discuss the problems of adolescence group, jointly, this gave new chapter to start and many new thoughts came out with this interactions.

7. Last but not the least a very important approach in the starting of the world congress on the morning of 11th Feb 2016 was having a great symposia on the interaction of country’s Traditional Medicine with Modern Medicine was discussed very widely and again it gave a overwhelming response by the experts of Modern Medicine and Traditional Medicinal System. This congress strongly recommend the integration of Traditional Medicine into Modern Medicine due to its widely use in developing countries (80% of the population depend on Traditional Medicine for primary healthcare). Moreover, it is increasing rapidly in developing countries and moreover it is also increasing rapidly in developed countries. The recommendations of WHO and SPGHTN should be put forward to the health practitioners of all countries. This will give a modern path for all the countries for improving the health status and with the help of new guidelines, new era, new thoughts, new vision in which we all together will certainly achieve the Sustainable Developmental Goals set by United Nations, before time, very efficiently with minimum expenditure, minimum efforts and minimum tolerance. President, vice president and secretary were participated as a representative of various International Scientific societies.
